Khoy

Khoy is an oasis city in the province of Azerbaijan about 150 km from Tabriz. Khoy is the captal of the district with the same name. Khoy carpets are mainly influenced by the various designs of the nearby city of Tabriz but they are mostly made with the Persian knot as opposed to the Turkish knot of Tabriz rugs.
